Alison, I was disappointed also when I did my first photo quilt. I thought the quilt squares would be just like they were in the photos. Then someone told me the reason they arent is because photo's are printed on glossy or matted paper and we're printing our quilt photos on fabric. The quilt will still turn out beautiful.

This is very original and very nicely done! I am about to make a memory quilt for my brother and sister-in law as a wedding gift.  I have all the photos I wish to use, but the colors won't print out vibrant on the fabric, like it does on the photos. So I am stuck in phase one & I don't know what to do.  I have an hp 3-in-one printer that uses 3 colors & 2 different black cartridges (photo & regular). I used Sew-On Printed Treasures for inkjet printers and followed the directions.  What can I do to avoid using faded pictures on my quilt?  Alison

This is truly the best setting for pictures I have ever seen in a quilt.

Pam, it's fabulous, I love b&w prints, looks great with the b&w photos tucked in, bet they love it.
