Patricia, I have seen those colorful dogs and agree they would make wonderful quilts. I am working on two right now, one of my boxer and one of my Viszula! We will have to share photos of our finished work! How is your mystery quilt going?

I love this...my favorite flowers. You did a great job Lynn. I might try something like this myself. You have inspired me, thanks.......

Copy away Jeanette! I don't mind sharing at all. I sewed the back ground in long wedge strips then cut them into strips and sewed those together in a different order. It was a fun quilt to design and I hope to see pictures of your finished quilt. I call them tapestrys when they hang on the wall! Have fun :)

Thank you very much Lyn, now I can really see the detail and you have done it very cleverly. Do you mind too much if I take your format to copy - loosely. I'm in New Zealand so will not have this too near to you to spoil anything for you. I plan to make a wall hanging around 1mt x 1.25mt

Hi Jeanette, It is not a large quilt it is only about 3' x 3'. I could post some more detailed photos, if you like. No pattern, I just pieced as many sunflower fabrics as I could find together, cut them apart and sewed them together! All the pedals of the flowers are 3D, as are the butterflies.
