Thank you Riana Noyes, and yes it is a gift for my son. I am planning on making a bear, elk, and a cougar also and some how put them all on one quilt! Haven't got that part figured out yet but I am sure it will all come together in the end!

Lyn, your fabric choice for this is stellar! lt's going to finish up so nicely. Obviously you have a good feel for the lines yourself. You should be proud of your efforts.A Christmas present for a lucky someone?

"I've been tracing and cutting and arranging fabric pieces for 3 days and finally set an iron to it so I can start sewing!!" What a detailed pattern! Not very well written as far as applique patterns go, the markings were saddly lacking.
