This quilt was entered in the Leavenworth (WA) Quilt Show this summer and won 3rd Place!! How exciting. The quilt is my original design based on my favorite fairy tale. The theme for the challenge was "Mountains of Quilting" and the quilter was required to use the fabric that I used on the curtains (yuk!) and in a couple of the quilts on the bed. I had to rewrite the fairy tale a bit, making it mountains of quilts on the bed, instead of mattresses. I also allowed the Frog Prince from another fairy tale to come for a visit - mixed metaphor intended.
