It was a long, scary trip from ND to WA for Mr. Bear, so I decided to give him a friend to travel home with after his stay with me. Socky is bigger than Mr. Bear and I wrapped them up together to make the trip back to Kyler.

interesting ..i've never seen the hat & scarf set. when i started making sock monkeys in the 70's all anyone dressed them w were the red vest and little hat. but i've always dressed them ..clown costumes, prairie 'princess', etc. but i will file this idea away for future.

Thank you, Rogue! A lot of the ones I've seen have had these hat & scarf sets. I automatically did a set for mine. Plus, he was headed to ND, which typically has negative temps there this time of year.

Thanks, Beth! I can't even tell you how long I've had the socks to make this. Guess I needed a good reason to create him.
