This is a nested pinwheel pattern I developed many years ago. The border is a flip and sew paper pieced affair that echos the fabrics in the pinwheels.

Template set and instructions are available at www.herquilting.com. I'm all set to do a 6" (the above is a 8") with a gradient background. I want it to fade from bottom left to top right. I have to get my son's quilt done and off my design wall before I can start it, though. I love sewing the blocks. They're like jewels in the brights I like.
