Paper piecing and judy's directions make it easier than it looks.

I am working on a paper pieced version by Judy Neimeyer. Bali Wedding Star. Quiltworx.com.

I've not seen one in person, but did watch on the old "Simply quilts" show a gal demonstrate her version where she made strip sets and used a template to cut the curve out of the strip set...this may have been done in a similar manner but with a crazy patchwork of fabrics instead of just strips.

i actually bought this beautiful wedding ring quilt from an antique shop. some poor soul had no idea what they had. it is done all by hand and quilted by hand. i have a question.  has anyone ever seen a wedding ring quilt that is actually STRIP pieced or paper peiced?  this one does not have the normal sectioned peices that a person normally would see. it was probably paper peiced.
