Comment by Ethelda Hillsman on September 9, 2012 at 10:08am Love the Janome 6600. Great machine.
Good choice for you, Rogue. The liquid response ft. eliminates that "hesitation" I've learned to deal with on mine, and the side rotary is handy to reload bobbin without shifting sewing around so much. Also, no fancy stiches to distract you, (because we all know how you love to play with gadgets). You'll love the knee lift & push button thread cutting..does it have a needle threader? As I get older I appreciate that more all the time:)

Comment by carla j walton on September 7, 2012 at 7:43pm what do you mean speed control issue? you should be able to adjust it with one of the buttons on the side there to choose a slower speed. won't it do that? yeah, it only does straight stitch, that's why i got a step or two up. but still you let yourself get use to it and i'm sure you will be pleased. :) plus fast quilting! i use mettler and gutermann but i'm sure what ever you choose will be fine.
