Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
This quilt was a real challenge cause the pattern was so repeated so many times, I think the only thing that kept me going was the fabric. All the small and large dots come from one fabric.Tie dyed ,but I just had to have this fabric when Ibought it, then the leaves are all one fabric. The only thing that changed was the background and thats only because I did"nt have enough of just one.

OK, I found the magazine with this pattern. It came from July/August issue 2006 of Love of Quilting from Fon's and Porter. I don't know how you can still get the pattern, maybe they keep them just for this occasion.
Comment by Sue Clark Koenig on August 19, 2012 at 8:21pm OMG! I can''t imagine doing that much hand work. My fingers just don't cooperate that well any more. It is just fantastic... even more knowing it was needle work!
This quilt was done with all paper applique, thread and needle all the way,LOL
Comment by Sue Clark Koenig on August 17, 2012 at 3:56pm Is it fusible applique or needle turn?
Comment by Jill Cox on August 17, 2012 at 2:47pm How long did it take you to make it? I would have gone nuts. You should enter it in a show. It is beautiful.
Comment by viki hagan on August 17, 2012 at 2:41pm Gorgeous, I love it.. I'll never make one in any way like it, lol. I no longer have the patience for this sort of job.
Comment by the rogue quilter on August 15, 2012 at 11:27am This quilt has 640 small dots and 25 large dots, I thought I was all dotted out but I just found another antique dot quilt that is just beatiful, we"ll see what I can do with my thoughts on it. I"m gonna have to creat my own pattern of it though cause theres no such thing as a pattern. Also there is 400 leaves in this quilt to, I would love to see someone elses ideas put in this quilt.
