Grandmother's Flowergarden/hospice quilt

I made this all from scraps.Hand pieced and quilted. It's just large enough for a hospital bed or 3/4 bed, and being donated to local hospice to use or fundraise (as they feel fit).

lt's not an easy one to layout if you're making it from scraps. l had to take photos during the layout process to choose my favourite & so l'd remember where each flower went. Some of the time the shape looked really weird as it was "growing".

This is great, this is what I"m working on now. Mine will be quiet differant from the original, but you know me, I have to stir  patterns up. LOL. Not to long ago I put a challenge out to share or make a grandmothers flower garden, well since I have"nt made one yet, I"m now working on it. And it"s fun, choosing the colors and the layout.

Very pretty!  Iove Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern .  It was my mother's favorite pattern.  She died last year at age 92.  This made me think of her.

Wow, that's a lot of work to be donated, it's lovely and very generous of you.
