French Braid Quilt
My husband claimed this quilt when I was considering who to "gift" it to...so it lives with us. My first attempt at the french braid pattern and the only quilt I have done that was professionally quilted.

I don't blame him.. it's very pretty. I've been considering putting this pattern on my to do list..this might have convinced me. I usually don't like them, but normally I see them in pastels which always tends to dampen my enthusiasm a bit unless it's a baby quilt or just plain spectacular. Yours is really nice, I like that leafy/grassy fabric you used for the strip sets too, a nice choice in neutral colors..even as busy as it is, it really complements the braids without being distracting. Your husband obviously has great taste.
