If you are talking about Forgotten Farms they came from Be Creative Studio...or you can Google Forgotten Farms and a list of where you can get the pattern will show up.  It was a block of the month pattern but I got all of them at once.  Let me know if you have a problem...I will be away until the end of August.

Beverly I must tell you this silly story.  I wanted to order these patterns you told me about so I thought I made sure I kept your email so I could do it later but your email was gone. I panic and I sat down and went thru 756 pages of quilts because that is how far I am and I couldn't find it.  I just thought well maybe its in deleted mail.  There you were.  What a day.  Could you please send me an email and tell me the name of that site again?  Thank you so much. If you Google Steam A Seam 2, you can find lots of places to purchase it.  I buy mine from our local quilt store.

Sonjia....I used a satin stitch....which is my zig zag, you can use various stitches for applique, depending on what you have on your machine.  Actually I said Wonder Under but it isn't what I use....I use Steam A Seam 2 which is very light.  Also if you have too big a piece and don't want it so thick, just use the Steam A Seam around the edges of the piece.  You can buy steam a seam in 1/2inch strips for this.

Sherri where did you get the Elenor Burns Fusible at?  Is there a place on line to order it?   Very good instructions.  I really appreciate you help.  I found the patterns where you said they were and I am goin to order them today.  One question, what is a round about figure to have quilt quilted on longarm?  What was the finished size of your project, the barns?  Sorry that was 4 questions not one. lol

Sonjia, I did a Sun Bonnet Sue applique.  It was my first applique project.  I used Eleanor Burn's Fusible to pattern to cut sew, cut, turn, and press. Then I used my regurlar sewing machine to do a button hole stitch all around the pieces.  It turned out so cut.  I will post a picture as soon as I get it back from the longarmer.

Beverly are you saying you used your reg. sewing machine and sewed around each piece.  Just a regular stitch or embroidered design?  Please dont answer this if you are short on time.    Sonjia

Sonjia....I do as little hand sewing as possible....I machine appliqued all the pieces onto the blocks.  I used light Wonder Under to attach the pieces to the background, the blue sky....but you could do hand applique if that is what you prefer.

so you mean you hand appliqued the center blocks.  Did you have a quuare for sky then put all the pieces on top of that with hand applique.  Sorry I am new at this. Sonjia
