I made this for my niece for graduation. She chose the pattern and many of the fabrics.

Thanks for all the lovely comments. It's based on a pattern called "Fireworks". The original was a wall hanging with 4 complete circles in the center. I sent my niece several possibilities for layouts and this is the one she preferred. It was paper pieced. And yes, she loves it - has slept with it every night since I gave it to her and actually makes her bed now! :)

this is gorgeous, and she is one lucky niece. I have never seen such an intricate design, hope she appreciates it. Did you make this pattern up? It is awesome. I am not this talented.
