This was the first quilt that I made and took me about 2 years to finish it.  It's hand quilted.  My son is now living in Dallas and unfortunately his former roommate stole the quilt.  He's in the process of trying to get it back.

Hard to believe it's forty years old - the colors don't look at all faded.  Great work!  And I know you're delighted that he loves it and still uses it.

My son's Bear Paw Quilt is 40 years old now and still in daily use.  Could stand some repair of quilting stitches( I didn't know there was such a thing as quilting thread back then) and a new binding.  But it is so soft and loved looking.  I know Dougie will love this one.
