Debra I too, am a fan of the pineapple. I have made log cabins but I love the geometric that the pineapple gives. Your black, white and red is stunning! Thanks for sharing.

This is actually a finished quilt that my niece has on her college dorm bed. I had real batik from bali that I bordered it with and the quilting had some real aboriginal beads sewn on. This is the australian fabric pack I bought that cost a few so I needed to turn it into something. So it became my 'Aboriginal Pineapple'

Funny, I"ve always loved the pineapple, but never cared for the log cabin.. this is lovely, love the colors and fabrics you used.
