Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
This is what I doodled around with, and yes I used my pizza pan to help me out.The green center square is one peice the same with the black center square, then I appliqed the center petals on.I'm sure some of you master peicers can peice this block easily.I'm open for ideas with this block, thought I would make 4 and put them together and see what I get. Just another idea in the making.Oh yeh, I'm making this block 16 inches.

No this quilt was not done on EQ, this was planned on draft paper and a pizza pan, actually it was fun. I"ve got so many ideas in this new brain, I think for sure they put 2 brains back in when the doc repaired me from my accident.
Comment by Julie Beard on August 15, 2012 at 12:30am Cindy love the block!!! It's got my creative juices going. You could use freezer paper to match the curves in the centres and fill in with curved triangular shape or even curved diamond then square up to measure 16 inches. or even go larger for a centre piece which would be appliqued onto a whole cloth quilt.
