I could sure use one of the covers for soup bowls and have a bunch of other things that need to be done.I eat a lot of soup since moving back to Michigan from Florida.this group sounds like fun. Glad I joined.

Thank you Kathy Gurgone!

I received one of these years ago from a retreat I attended and I love it! I also hang it from my extra spool on top of my sewing machine to use when I am using my machine in the living room and don't have room to put a pin cushion next to the machine.

Ladies, I made something at a retreat a few years back that has been really handy when working on small projects.  It was called a soda cap pincushion.  You take the cap off of a 2 litre bottle.  Drill 2 small holes in the cap, run a small piece of elastic through the holes and tie knots in each end.  You then take a fabric yo-yo (made from about a 3" round piece of fabric, we used a small plastic drinking cup as a template)  Stuff the yo-yo with several cotton balls and then hot glue it into the soda cap and decorate with ribbon.  It was super quick and easy.  I have made dozens since them.  Just an idea, I thought I would share.

Hi ladies.  I’m back!  If I am not already your friend, expect requests to arrive.  I bought the stuff and want to make a microwave bowl holder.

I will try out mine and see how it goes. I’ve not done many tutorials but if this goes together ( nicely) I’m willing to give it a try

A microwave potato bag would be a good tutorial to show on this group, Colleen. Hint, hint, hint.
