Hi gang

I just got back from AZ and NM.  Needless to say I have not been doing any quilting at all.  Hope to start again in a couple of days.  Just wanted to check in so you would know I still existed  LOL

Only 10 more days to get your votes in for your favorite potholder.  So far the voting is neck and neck.  Linda and Beth are truly talented.

Mary, I tried copying everyone's to one spot but not successful. Kathy's and mine are on page 4, Beth's is on page 3.

Is there a place to look at the two potholders together??  I'm alittle clueless these days.

I hope things are improving for you, Linda. Sounds like that machine would be a real blessing. Hope it comes through.

Good morning ladies. I'm just checking in. We are finally getting nice weather here in Missouri! For some reason I've not been in the mood to quilt for a few weeks. I've had a quilt on my quiltung machine for a month and haven't even started quilting it! I have been piecing some Dear Jane blocks. I have to take my oldest granddaughter to the doctor pretty soon, she tore up her foot in a hole at her son's baseball game. She is a police detective. I like the potholders! What are some ideas for the empty spools? Sounds interesting! Better go! Have a great day.

Mary, thanks anyway. Shipping costs are so expensive these days. I have plenty of fabric for the quilt-a-thon...and batting.  After the January kennel quilt workshop I had, a long arm quilter in Indianapolis sent me 2 large cartons of batting leftovers. I've barely put a dent in it after 30+ kennel quilts so far. What a blessing!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. This morning I made 4+ dozen cookies. Indy and I walked up to the fire dept. and took them to the firemen/EMTs. Still have a lot of pain in my hip but have to keep moving. Waiting for the insurance to approve a machine (Oska Pulse) that fibro patients are having success with. I have a friend with fibro and psoriatic arthritis who had been a wheel chair for several years. With the Osaka Pulse usage after a year or so, now walks 4 miles a day! So can you imagine how well I could be doing!! On my good days Indy and I walk almost 2 miles.

Oh Linda, Take care.

I wish I could afford to mail you some on sale fabric I couldn't resist at the quilt show.  I need to take it on my next veterinarian visit, as it is covered with doggie doggie doctors, nurses, aides, and other helpers.  It is heavier than usual quilting I thought I would ask them what they would like.  A curtain, ball caps, a vest or apron, recovery pads???

Oh goodness Linda, take care.
