She Learned to Quilt on
MONDAY.
Her stitches all were fine
She forgot to make us dinner
So we all went out to dine
She quilted miniatures on
TUESDAY
She says they are a must
They really were quite lovely
But she forgot to dust
On
WEDNESDAY
it was a sampler
She says that stipplings fun
What Highlights What Shadows!
But The LAUNDRY wasn’t done
Nine Patches were on
Thursday
Green, Yellow, Blue and red.
I guess she really was engrossed
She never made the Bed.
It was wall hangings on
Friday.
In colors she adores
It never bothered her at all
That crumbs were on the floor
I found a maid on
SATURDAY
My week is now complete
My wife can quilt the hours away
The house will still be neat
Well, now it’s only
SUNDAY
I think I’m about to wilt
I cursed, I raved ,I ranted
Cause
the Maid has learned to QUILT !

Comment by eileen pritch on May 14, 2013 at 11:48pm I meant to say "SEW & TELL"....... lol
Gotta admit, my reasons for doing this is to see all those great pieces that people have mentioned they are working on and also hopefully to get some imput from the many members who seldom make comments- I know you are out there and you are important to this group too!!!/without participation, ideas don't flow and groups disolve
Si...I will hen peck a reminder about a couple of days before to the group. Am really looking forward to seeing the talents and artistry we have in our group.
You may have to give us a reminder:))

Comment by eileen pritch on May 14, 2013 at 5:00pm I have deceided that I want the last Friday of every other month, starting with this month- to be a "show & tell" posting day for our members- this will be every two months to allow for projects to be finished....and give us all a chance to view the work of other quilters in our group, as well as showing off our own!!
The schedule will be as follows:
May 31, 2013
July 26th, 2013
Sept 27, 2013
November 29, 2013
