I do plan on participating in the next sewing bee, but it'll take me a little while to come up with a list because most of what I'm working on will be finished before the bee even gets started!  I'm glad you started this group, Suzanne, because it really gave me the inspiration I needed to keep working through my dry spell.  I'm hoping it's over!

sorry i missed the bee. bad week for me. sissy came over monday to tie 6 quilts but had a darner needle go in her leg.5 1/2 hours later in the er room the cut it out. and thata the beginning...sissy lost her wallet so tuesday i had to run her around.and do my sons birthday party.wednesday mom came over and we finshed tieing those last three quilts.so the remaining of the week was devoted to housework as  2 boys can surely mess a house up amongest choas.look forward to the next bee

I thought of the goodie end of an advent calendar. Because I am giving them to different families, I thought they could decide if they wanted a treat, prize, message etc. The little elf just looks cute to hold the place too.

Hi Nancy,  I like your advent calendar.  It is perfect for even stuffing a small candy cane in each pocket for countdown.  The elf is also a great idea.  Nice job Nancy.
