I'm with Suzanne.  I won't be able to do anything until after Nov. 3.  Payday, and I get a cast off my right hand/wrist for carpel tunnel.  Typing with left hand right now.  Have 2 projects to get started when it comes off.  Two Jacob's Ladder Christmas Quilt Blocks for a swap on this site and 11 blocks for a swap with another group.  Then I will start on cutting the pieces for a project with my senior activity group.  I will be a busy stitching bee when I get back to quilting.

Angie, FIUP is "Finish It UP"  as in UFO's.  Your goals are now posted to the main discussion page for the Oct23-Oct29 Challenge.

I have not had time to do any sewing for almost two weeks.  Sure hope that trend does not continue into next week.

Hi everyone.  Let me start off by apologizing for not getting our first event posted in a timely manner.  It seems that every thing I set about to accomplish this week took 3 times as long as I anticipated.  Hate it when that happens.

BUT.....drumroll.......the STITCHING BEE GUIDELINES page has been posted and our first STITCHING BEE DISCUSSION is LIVE.

So go to the guidelines page and read the guidelines, decide on your 7 goals and then go to the discussions page and sign up.

Sorry it took me so long.  Thought I had already joined.  But never too late, right?!

My local quilt guild is having a 2 day retreat at the junior college.  I am finishing up getting a "Turning Twenty" cut out for my 11 year old grandson.  I did not use the 20 fat (Fluffy around here) quarters.  I just got flannel and cut out 20 accent blocks and went from there.  On the back will be another "Turning Twenty" in special fabrics.  Then I am going to do it raggy.

Thank you for inviting me to the Quilting Bee.  I have 3 little quilt tops I need to get done for a lady on the quiltingboard, I will have them finished today. she also is sending me two more, not sure when.  I have 4 quilt tops I am working on for my new grandson who is due this month, and i want to make some burp rags.  Yesterday my daughter and I made a rag quilt for a baby girl, my daughter (30) liked it so much she got out my flannels and we made her one. :)  I need to get busy here, I think the weather change has made everyone some what blah. Plus I want to make receiving blankets also.  But, my main focus is quilting, I love my LA
