The biggest tip is- make sure you book your hotel ASAP as there is a shortage of places to stay around there. We ended up staying in Missouri and travelling by car back and forth about 80 miles each way, which really cut a lot of time away from being at "the show". Comment by Susie Cooper on December 20, 2012 at 6:36pm I'm with you! ~in regards to spending my time quilting and sewing rather than being on the computer. But when you have some time, it's fun to look through photos of other member projects.
Comment by Phyllis Lund on December 16, 2012 at 11:08pm Hello everybody- from Chehalis, WA. I am new to this site. I signed up when I went to Paducah back in April (great show by the way)!! and haven't spent much time getting used to this site. I'd rather be sewing and quilting than being on the computer. So maybe some of you can give me some pointers on using this website?? Happy quilting everybody!
Comment by Laura Marx on November 15, 2012 at 11:50pm Hi I'm a novice quilter living and playing with fabric here in Olympia! I'd love to meet some other local quilters to share with and inspire each other!
Comment by Beth A. North on October 22, 2012 at 12:09pm The Quilt Show was wonderful this last weekend. Thank you for letting me be part and be the speaker for one of your demonstration/presentations. Linda Jackson, you are such a great encourager. Thank you for having things ready and set to go.
Comment by LindaKay on September 20, 2012 at 9:17pm Does anyone know if you are allowed to take photos at the
Show in Port Townsend this weekend. I am also a photographer and would love to have a bunch of quilt photos for the walls of my studio that I am redoing.
