Hi everyone! I'm a newbie from Blackstone, VA or Nottoway Co. I took Quilting 101 and fell in love with Quilting, applique and embroidery. I originally took my first class because I wanted to make a quilt from my horse show ribbons. Needless to say I haven't gotten my horse show ribbon quilt because I keep finding a pattern I love and I start an entire new quilt projects. Oh well, I'll get around to the ribbons soon :)

Hello!  I live in Ashburn, VA and have been quilting for over 20 years also.  I taught quilting when I lived in Illinois before I moved here and got my teaching license.  I've been teaching high school history for the past 15 years.  I am looking forward to meeting other quilters in Virginia!

Hi everyone. I live in Centreville, Virginia and I've been quilting for over 20 years. I work full time as a high school English teacher so my quilting time is limited when school is in session. Right now I am working on a Winter Olympics lap quilt for my husband. He is a snowboarder and skier.
Looking forward to the Quilters Unlimited show this coming weekend.

Hello, I live in Aylett, VA, semi retired and made my first quilt in 2000.  I was unemployed at the time and quilting was something I always wanted to try.  Unfortunately, work and life in general came first and I didn't seriously start quilting again until 2007, so I consider myself a novice.  So much to still learn and try.  I look forward to being part of the group.

Hi, I haven't been in the last two years as something came up. I am hoping to go this year. I don't like the Hampton venue as Williamsburg was cozy and you could break it up. The bus system was great. Everything changes I guess. Are you going? I like to go on the first day as you get the best choice on that day.
