UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Mary, I don't think machine quilting thread is as heavy as true hand quilting thread or at least not any I have. My old hand quilting thread could be used for fishing line.lol. but the machine quilting thread is very strong. Plenty strong enough though I still don't feel as strong as hand quilting. But since the machine stitches are much closer together and interlocked it doesn't need to be as strong. That's just my opinion though.

Wow, Elizabeth, you really are on a roll! It turned out great.

Sitting in northern Pa. near NY state border for coming ice storm to pass...no snow tires, studs, chains or even a scraper...so not usec to foul weather travel. So decided to play it safe:))

Barbara, I find I keep a project going upstairs, downstairs, in the car..nothing in the bathrooms yet.  Hope you will be running all around soon.

Oh, Barbara, I feel your pain.  Suffered with problems for years.  Have had both knees replaced and right hip, also plates in my left wrist.  Hope you're back to normal soon.  It's hard to describe the pain, I always said it is like a shock would feel.  sending Prayers your way.

Love the Happy Hour Quilt, Elizabeth.

I haven't been able to go up and sew or do anything for a couple of days. I have been suffering with my lower back out. I can't step with my right leg because of great pain in my knee. Went to the Chiropractor and he said I have two deteriorating discs in my lower back. He gave me exercises and ice jell bag to bring down the inflamation. Still can't walk on it but I think there is a change. I think the inflamation is coming down. He had high hopes that I'll be able to walk next week. I'm using a cane and my Dad's walker.
