Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Elizabeth and Linda, Nice finishes.
It was in the 70's today, by 8 pm the snow is sticking. I don't think it is healthy to go thru constant big temperature swings.
Had a lovely day at home, playing with the two BOM's and even made myself do two hours on the tapestry.
Hi Rogue!
What a fun quilt, Elizabeth! Great colors and fabrics!
Thank you, Linda.
I'm going to take a break from UFOs and quilt a quilt for my BFF's daughter.
Elizabeth, I love the colors in your Happy Hour quilt!
Below is my Happy Hours quilt machine quilted with lots of wavy lines in free motion.
Linda .. awesome tablerunner. I am so close to a finish I can feel it, but not yet. Had to redraw my lines around Cooper's name as the lines were disappearing as I had literally dried out my marking pen. Got a new one and that is now fixed.
<back to work ~ lots to do today!>
Hi Linda,
That is a lovely table runner! And I am so proud of you - learning a quilt with a walking foot. I would like to take a walking foot quilting class too to learn some of the different ways to do straight-line quilting.
I sewed the label on the Happy Hours quilt this morning. My cleaning lady is here so I'll wait to take a photo of it later. She has all the blocks sewn for her Hip to be square quilt and brought them for me to see and she has a baby quilt pattern written out. I gave her a plastic heart template to make the hearts she needs for it.
And I've been working on scraps too - sewing, ironing, cutting and resewing etc. I need some 12 1/2" pieced blocks. I was planning to go to Notre Dame des Champs to quilt this Saturday, but snow and miserable weather is being forecast.
Riana, you won't be coming home to Spring yet.
Thank you everyone! I quilted it using what I learned in my first class of quilting using a walking foot. That was a very basic class. Can't wait for next month's class. Practicing on kennel quilts.
What a lovely tablerunner, Linda! Looks like you made it to match your bouquet on the table. Perfect setting!
