If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Mary, My husband's twin brother went through that very thing with multipule mini strokes. He could not move his left side. He was able to get to the hospital quickly and his feeling on his left side returned. He is back to normal in every way except forgetful about things.  He had been drinking a lot of those energy drinks and went to a birthday party for his grandson the day before the strokes. To much rich foods. He is now on a blood thinner and has to watch his diet carefully. He hates being on meds.

Elizabeth, l'm sure even the snowmen are sick of snow by now!Drive carefully!

Mary, it must be so hard to adjust to " the new normal", l agree with Ginny, remember to make time for yourself. You two will get through this.

Mary, sending prayers and hugs for you and Paul and guidance for the doctors.

Deanna, congratulations on baby Kendyl.  I like her name - sounds sweet!

Mary, thinking about you and Paul.  Doctors can do so much now.  I hope that they figure out how to help him soon.

I drove outside of Ottawa today to Notre Dame des Champs to the community centre there to quilt with members of a guild I used to belong to.  I had a nice time but it snowed all afternoon and was still snowing when I drove home.  They meet there the second Saturday of every month.  I just pay $12. for the day.

Congrats on the baby Kendyl, Dee!

Hang in there, Mary, and get some help if you can, to take a break now and then. Don't wear yourself out. It won't help anyone. Prayers continuing for all of you.

Mary, prayers for you and Paul and the doctors that are treating him.

Well, another baby is here ~ a girl, Kendyl Taylor .. so #4 quilt moves up to #2 and #2 moves down to #3 .. and son's wee one will be here in May so I have time !  phew !!

Today is raining and gloomy, got my swim in early @ 7am so have been attacking boxes of papers and records and things to trash and burn .. feels good.  Waiting for a message for color preference / theme of new grand's room .. hoping for elephants, ponies .. went to look at flannel last night, came home with a batting to cut up for at least two of them :)

Going to go see My Girl this afternoon just to get out of the house .. plants are getting watered with gentle rain and I am sure it feels good.  Will post pic of Cooper on side of quilt .. have to blow it up BIGGER first and recut it  lol

Miss having time to chat here as usual.  Up to our ears in doctor appointments.  Neurologist next, as the MRI showed multiple very small strokes for Paul.  His moods and energy levels, as well a sleep patterns are all over the place.  I do realize that each day with him is a blessing, but I'm getting worn out with constantly readjusting plans. It has only been a week and a half!
