If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Elizabeth, I totally get that state of mind. Lol

I spent the morning working on the sashing for my 2nd Churn Dash quilt.  I also did a block for the 365 challenge which is starting over.  I plan to combine my 365 with the Splendid Sampler blocks for a 2nd 6" block quilt.  And I have a 6" block of a fusible applique owl that Is in the works too.  I like working on 3 or 4 things at the same time.  All the 6 inch blocks are in neutrals so they all end up in the same box until I have 63.  I think this way of working shows the state of my mind.  LOL

Wilma. It is one block a month. I thought it would just be nice if we each did our own and shared our progress. This would save postage and our quilts could be themed fabric this time. But it just works soUchiha better when you have someone to share with. :)

I got up early this morning - wanting to get as much quilting as I can on this last day of the year.  Hubby and I watched a movie on T.V. yesterday evening "Victoria and Abdul".  We enjoyed it very much.  But today,  I am set to sew!

Glad that the Bearded Dragon is going to be on the mend.  Amazing how vets can treat all kinds of animals.

Riana, the Honour Flight quilt is beautiful.  You must never sleep.

Love the QOV Riana.

Carla, that is really a cute quilt and would be a great Secret Santa gift. However, I have soooooooo many UFOs that I don't dare start another project. One of them is a Christmas BOM that I would like to work on this year. And I just agreed to make a bookcase quilt for my BFF. I have several others in various stages of progress that I'd like to move toward completion this year as well as taking in more sewing jobs.

Barbara, glad they found out what was wrong with Makani's lizard.

Riana, love your QOV.  Very nice pattern.  Not sure who does these for honor flights going out of Las Vegas McCarren Airport.  Know we had several flights this year.

Riana, your QOV is beautiful. Great work! Someone will be truly blessed.

Makani's lizard is a Bearded Dragon named Sif. They took him to the vet and found out he has a calcium deficiency. They now give him drops to correct it. And she found out he is a male.

Here's the Honor Flight quilt l made for our Water Oak Quilters here in Fla. to give next Nov. with the rest of the 70ish patriotic quilts being given out to the last of the ww2 vets and now beginning on Vietnam vets. It's a simplification of one l found by Quilters' Digest. While making it, l wrote out simple instructions for our newbie quilters. The Honor flight quilts are smaller than QOV...@ 50-54".

Carla and Wilma, I looked up the group and joined.  I just have to wait until I get approved for membership.  What are we going to do?
