If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Riana, hope you get Celine back soon. I've never named my machines, but I hate when one of the "girls" has to go in for maintenance.

Elizabeth - pretty quilt, but then all your quilts are lovely! I've heard of Stack and Whack and have even looked at instructions, but I don't get it. I think I need someone to actually show me how it's done for me to understand. I've seen Stack and Whack quilts and they are beautiful.

Thank you, Barbara.

I'm working now on Stack and Whack scraps.  I had some layers of 4 fabrics all pinned leftover from a SnW  I did years ago.  I sewed them into 3 1/2" squares and now I'm selecting a light, med. and dark fabric to be cut to make a 9" churn dash block with the SnW square in the middle.  It really is just playing with colours and I like doing it.  When I finish my churn dashes I'll have enough for 2 throw size quilts.  That is my favourite size quilt - not too hard on my back to quilt on my machine.

I just looked at the latest Janome being unveiled.  But I don't think I could do without the Bernina BSR.  Even though I used to machine quilt years before they invented the BSR, it has become my security blanket.

Love the stepping stones Elizabeth. Great work.

So sorry Celine isn't up to par, Riana. Hope she's back soon.

So THAT'S what " stepping stones" looks like. Very chic and modern!

I can't wait for Celine to get back from repair...l called, and they said " a couple of more days", sigh.

This is my latest finish - my Stepping Stones Quilt.  I enjoyed making this quilt.  It went fast. I machine quilted it in a large meandering motif.

Linda, I am sorry that you have had a recurrence of your illness. I'm thinking of you and hoping you won't have to go to the hospital.

I am so so sorry to hear about Nancy. That was so very quick after we had the news that she was stepping down to spend time with her family.

Linda, please take care of yourself, prayers for the Lord to keep you well.

Elizabeth, unfortunately, I'm down again. Went to the doctor this morning and my ears and throat are inflamed again and I've swollen glands. Praying it doesn't lead to bronchitis again. My body has become immune to antibiotics but they gave me a double doze for the next 10 days. If I don't get better soon, I'll end up in the hospital. Wish I could afford to move to a warmer climate again.

Hi Linda,

It is sad when a light in the quilting world passes.  Quilters liked her T.V. show and her catalogue selling quilting supplies.

I'm glad to see that you are recovering and are back with us.

It's a very sad day....Nancy Zieman has passed away. RIP Nancy

I am making binding with a Hallowe'en fabric for my Stepping Stones quilt today.  No snow yet.  I'm hoping it stays away a little longer.
