If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Your church quilt is stunning Deanna! I'm sure it will be a hit! Pinterest for me a very dangerous spot! Too many thing to look at, hence too much time wasted that could have been used to quilt something LOL

Thank you, Gals! I sure enjoyed the Paint Nite evening! This picture we all did was called Cherry Blossoms.

Dee, your quilt is gorgeous...and the quilting on it is very complementary. Tickets for this one should sell easily.

Hi Deanna,

The church quilt is so incredibly beautiful!  Colours are so vibrant.  Blue quilts are the most beloved by non-quilters so it should be a great fund raiser.

Elizabeth, If you put Linda Koller's name or Riana Noyes name or my name in the search you can see our boards and what we've collected for ideas. Linda has a pic of Indy so you will know she's the right Koller and Riana has a kitten and it says Ontario Canada or Deanna Davis. Mine has a purple and teal quilt in the pic. There is so much to learn and put into use. Tutorials, directions on putting blocks together, free patterns and so much more. I have a board on comfy homes and music. Polish pottery, Barn Quilts etc etc......... It inspires!!

Dee your quilt is spectacular. The quilting added was perfect for the quilt.

Dee, love the photo with Elvis that was posted on FB! So glad you got help finishing the binding...and what a way to advertise your ticket sales!!! Perfect!

I too use Pinterest. I have so many boards I can't remember them all...quilting, Havanese, recipes, Christian, books, movies, music, sewing room, tea & hot chocolate (pots & cups), and the list goes on....

Elizabeth ~ the Caravan quilt is awesome.  Love the animals...

The paintings are awesome .. yours too Ginny .. I need to do one of those, but I would love to be able to really draw ..

I use Pinterest too, have boards for recipes and cooking, fitness, sewing, quilts, and church banners.  Must now do a new banner for church for harvest season before Advent gets here end of November .. I have a plan, but I don't know if I can pull that one off ..

The church quilt is finished .. just need a label now, and I should have had that done before finishing the binding. But I sat at a festival on Saturday with 3 other ladies for QOV and we all took a corner and started stitching. It was done by the time we were done with the award ceremony.  And then ELVIS came !!

<and again, back to work>

Yes, Elizabeth, it is a bit commercial, but l just use it for the ideas. They usually ignite my imagination...then l come up with my own version.I have a variety of quilt related boards, from continuos line quilting , ruler work to scrappy quilts, applques, wall quilts and more. I only have one food related board, and another for party and play ideas for grandkids.

Today l spent the day clearing gardens and harvesting veggies...only 3 weeks until we head south ( a bit early ths year).

I went on Pinterest but I don't really know how to use it.  I could spend hours looking at trailer blocks and other fun things.  It seems to me lots of the patterns are for sale.

Mary, l was just thinking how simplified versions of those paintings would sure make cool quilt blocks!

Elizabeth, l have several pins on my Pinterest board " novelty blocks" with appliqué little vintage trailers. Our little trailer we go south in is only 13 ' l have a soft spot for them. But ours is modern, not as cute as the oldies, lol.
