If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

We should do a group quilt with applique versions of the paintings and then inflict in on some unsuspecting charity.

Ginny, I love your fall tree!

We had a paint night when I was in the nursing home. Nothing as exciting as what you gals did. All we did was a tree trunk.

Elizabeth and Ginny both of your paintings are beautifully done.  It must have been loads of fun. Especially to do it with your gd and dil. Elizabeth you look like a darling person.

Isn't it amazing to see all the different interpretations of the same picture and all so good?! Very nice Elizabeth!

Here is mine -

Elizabeth, you all created beautiful cardinals! One of my favorite birds here in the north because they are here year round and so colorful.

O.K. Ginny, I'm in blue (the eldest there)  My grand daughter is the second to the right of me with the blonde hair.  And my DIL is in the back row, the furtherest left.  Our art looks mostly the same! LOL

Hi Ginny,

I trace the animals on Golden Threads tracing paper and pin it on the quilt when I am machine quilting and quilt them.  Removing the paper is a little fiddely. I have 2 Laura Lee Fritz books with continuous machine quilting pictures but I get them from "images" on the computer too.  And the animals don't have to be perfect, just recognizable.

Your caravan quilt is so creative, Elizabeth! Are the animals hand or machine quilted into it or embroidered and then quilted? It really adds a wonderful pop to the quilt!

Paint Nite is a kick! I went to one a couple of months ago. I will post mine if you post yours! :c))

Hi Riana,

Funny you should mention the fabric with the travel trailers, I am very attracted to that fabric and to the kits that are pre-fused and cut out and let you make those trailers quickly.  But I am not buying right now.  It could be worse - I could be attracted to young men, wine, cannabis, and extreme sports - I'm just crazy about fabric and quilting. LOL
