If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

I'm still upright and walking here .. not sewing yet as I still have to move some things around to get to the 'plug' to put in an extension cord, then find the surge protector .. I found the sewing machine !  lol  I have the bookshelf and the cubbies up .. now putting things in the shelves / cubbies .. still have lots of boxes in the living room and must put them in their place.  Have a hall closet that we have decided to make the 'pantry' and appliances that don't fit in the kitchen are going in the garage .. so gotta get back to it ...

Mary .. glad you made it back .. please share RxR .. I have to get on the road and get some !

Elizabeth, prayers for your daughter and SIL

Linda.. praying you get some answers from the vet for Indy !

Glad you made it home safe, Mary. Paul must be elated to my Dave...same thing about any interesting spots...not just quit shops.

Elizabeth,  Too many issues for you to deal with.

Riana,  That wedding will be a hoot to talk about later...much later.  Any pictures?

Dee,  I am sorry the heat is making your move harder.  Does the house have air conditioning?

Indy has brought so much joy to so many people!

Just got home from our trip.  I managed to get three R by R patterns.  It seems that my husband could easily drive past quilt stores if there was no parking for truck and trailer.  I think we passed at least eight.  Will post some pictures when I get a chance after unpacking and working tomorrow.

Well, my daughter's wedding was a success. whew. first her ( then) fiancee came down w/ flu 2 days prior, then her matron of honor's flight got cancelled( took 10 hr bus trip to make it just in time) , a plumbing leak in kitchen going into new playroom in basement of house ( her dad fixed), and groom's sister, (bridesmaid) had a horrible migraine..but love conquers all.

I've been following the wildfires in B.C. because my daughter lives in the area of the fires.  Her town, Clearwater, is on evacuation alert.  She said that they are not in danger but she will keep me posted.  I worry so much about her and her husband.  They have built their home by themselves - he has been working on it every day for a year and she has been raising money by baking and selling eggs, veggies, and bunny meat for new things for the house, besides a full-time job.  I am hoping that they will not be burned out.

Dee, do you want to postpone Bible study tomorrow evening?

Indy looks like that most days now. He sleeps most of the time. If he gets excited (when I go somewhere without him), he starts coughing then can't breathe. He also will do that in his sleep which scares me to death especially at 3:00 am! He can't eat kibble anymore without getting diaherra and/or gagging. Then gagging produces some bile. We had to switch him to soft turkey/potato canned food. He was still getting diaherra with the chicken canned food. All this diaherra was causing dehydration. He is on pain medication. Found some dog calming music which I'm playing almost 24/7 now. A fellow from the Halo Rescue group we belong to looped it on YouTube so it will play 10 hours straight for me. I was having to go in every 15 minutes to reset it. After this last vet visit his medical bill is almost $1000, the ultrasound is $400, treatment on what is found ?????

If anyone would like to contribute, here is the link

Thank you for your support. Indy is my life line.

So sorry to hear that Indy is sick.  I have a soft spot for dogs and especially yours because he does so much good and brings so much happiness to your life.  I could see in his eyes that he was under the weather and suffering in the photo you posted.
