UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Linda ~ shhhhhh   am checking in from work ... <tiptoeing back to it!>

Couldn't sew last night, was too wired looking for alternatives for TV provider / apps and something smart (phone / tablet) to put the app for the TV on ... going to be cutting as many cords as possible moving in to new house.  Things are just changing ...

<back to work>

That's quite the foxy quilt Riana. Too bad we have to wait till winter to see it finished.  But I guess a wedding should come first. lol Will we see photos of the flower girls dress? And of course your jacket?

Are you not working today Dee? Most of the storms have hit all around us. Clouds just have rolled thru. Indy and I were just out on the swing and more are coming in. We did get some rain last evening but no storm.  Will see what this evening brings. Working on today's block.

Riana ~ love the fox .. I loved those patterns too .. in fact Quiltmaker has a cute Christmas in July pattern I have to go get that I really like .. it's a tablerunner that can double for a wallhanging.

Linda ~ I need to get my cocker a haircut ~ he is turning into a mop at our house.  Tstorms today so getting log cabin blocks under the needle today.  1st 34 is almost done :)  Then must start 2nd batch of the other blues .. at the end of the week I will share ..

Riana, I finished the quilt for my son-in-law's dog, Cole today.  And I have a smaller quilt for my daughter's little sheltie, Teddy, ready to sandwich.

Elizabeth, is the dog quilt OF a dog or FOR a dog?

Oh,l thought the mitts were so he wouldn' t scratch his face w/ long fingernails...a problem we had with our oldest. Love the tumbling block quilt. When he' s older, he can play " l spy"... l see a doggie footprint...

Thanks, the fox is in a magazine, Quiltmaker, but he' s all teensie squares. I hate having that many unnecessary seams in a baby' s quilt, so l' m revamping it with larger pieces, just using the " pixilated" version as reference.
