If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

@Rebecca;  Nah, he would give you an award for being so wonderful as you are.  Mine is just going along for the ride because he knows I need so much to finish these things up and is telling me to sell the pile I am accumulating.  I am working on that.  I will put my piles in a craft show this fall and see what sells there.  Otherwise, will have some completed gifts when needed.  Will show photos when I get them done.

Beth, you are amazing and I am exhausted in just reading all you have accomplished.  My DH would probably divorce me if I managed to get that much accomplished in a month

@Carolyn:  You must smell good to them if they chase you.  Think of all the rain and snow I am dealing with up here north and then you won't want to be outside so much.  Happy sewing, you can do it.

Ok, after reading some of your posts, have decided to get back down to some sewing I have cut out, wish me luck...or something, it is such a nice day, but the neighborhood dogs all chase me, and I don't enjoy that, so will just live my life inside, wish they were all tied up!!!! Darn it.

Wow Deanna, must be nice to do some planting, ground to cold here but getting anxious to get out there and play in some dirt.  I have to dig up my carrots that are out there from last year, yes, you can keep them in the ground for the winter, just be sure to cover them up good with straw.  They are so good.  You did good on getting things done this last weekend.

@Beth - I ended up helping a girl in one of my classes cut her fabrics. Her fabrics of choice she came up short, so we fudged and I think it will come out ok. I had gotten some gardening done, tomatoes, cucs, sunflowers and peppers are in with marigolds, raspberry and blueberry planted, transplanting another raspberry I found in my yard if I can make it root .. and working on other beds before we get another rounds of storms.  I'm tired .. hubby was home this weekend so lots of 'work' to get done while he is home for 2 days. I am recovering some things in the camper he will call home for a while, so he took the 'headboard' off the wall and I'm recovering it -- now I get to wash the walls .. I think I'll sew some after I take a short nap LOL

So ladies we have been quiet, any finishes?  I should be posting no later than next week.  I am currently trying to finish that huge undertaking of a split diamond star in the western theme.  Got all the pieces cut and arranged now to sew them together.  Had to wait for ruler to get in so finished quilting a baby quilt, an oak leaf panel quilt, and four more customer quilts.  Whew, could sure use another day for weekend.  Maybe I should ask for a day off from work so I can be at home enjoying quilting.

@Mary -- congrats on such a productive time !  Now I've got to get to work !  We had such a rain storm yesterday, thankfully no tornado watches -- but don't plug in the computerized machine. Today is so nice I've got to get some gardening work done -- the ground will move :>  When it gets dark I'll get back to the machine .. have a great day all

When we go to the lake I have saved projects to work on. It rained most of the time we were there (my favorite) I just work until i am really tired of sewing on the machine.....There is a method in there some where. Thank you all for being in this group......I needed to be here.
