When we go to the lake I have saved projects to work on. It rained most of the time we were there (my favorite) I just work until i am really tired of sewing on the machine.....There is a method in there some where. Thank you all for being in this group......I needed to be here.

@Mary, wow you were productive.  That is awesome to see all that done in a week.  you were might sewer.

Hi everyone!  I had a great weekend with a group of freinds for a quilt weekend. I did get my lap size "Through Thick and Thin" top done minus the border and helped the others with theirs.  We had a very productive weekend.  Among my things to do today is getting my FQ in the mail.

Well, we are back from a wonderful week at the lake. WE HAVE WATER IN THE LAKE. we are thrilled.It rained most of the time we were there. I loved every minute of it. I was a good girl.I was able to catch up on some projects. Crossroads is now 2 twin tops ready for the borders. I need to sew 3 more rows(already sewn into rows) onto Twirling Triangles and borders and that will be a queen size. I sewed 2 pillow cases together to go with my string quilt I just got back from my Mother. I am almost finished with Back Yard Majesty and another wall hanging for our living room. 2 table cloths, 1 is to practice FMQ on I am going to need a lot more practice......not as easy as people make it seem. I also discovered that I am 1/2 way finished with "Old Glory". WHEEEEE I am tired just typing that all out. Now I can work on my 2 BOM blocks I am behind on. AND wouldn't you know it.......all 4 dogs and Dh need haircuts. Well so much for catching up.......

Quilt it and then make into a duvet cover that might work.  Then you have the looks and use of both.

I finally had a "free", rainy day. So l dug out a UFO and got back into the mindframe of when l was working on it 10 mo. ago. It's random piecing of all pale green.& cream 2" sq. & triangles, plus some 4"squares.It's supposed to be a duvet cover that l plan to interline with sheeting to keep it from fraying on inside.Having second thoughts, after all the work is done (2/3) way now, I'm thinking of quilting it instead.

The QuiltNBee is having the UFO for year contest.  i think i would love to get that gift basket though.  I love to have rulers and then your own showing wow.  That would be so nice.  Will be rooting for you to get a couple finished.

Our LQS is having a contest this month for UFO's, you bring in your project they will give you guidance on how to complete it and you get a entry ballot for a gift basket at the end of the month full of rulers. They will also showcase your completed work in a little trunk show in April. So one project 1 ballot, 2 projects 2 ballots. I told her if I need to actually have it finished I might do good to get one out of the 5 I have - so I'm going to enter for my placemats & one of my quilts thats 75% finished.

@Beth, very nice :>  I'm still stitching -- by hand -- this quilt I am restoring -- kinda took priority over everything else I am working on LOL  MY fault !  Sucker for surprises for someone ELSE !

Don't worry, if I get all my quilts completed this month on longarm, there will be 8 to have binding done on.
