Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Fall/ pumpkin themed but NO HALLOWEEN blocks please!!!!!!!
This swap will be for 12.5 inch blocks. Applique, piecing or embroidery. If you choose embroidery make sure its a large pattern so that there is not a little patch on a large block please.
I am looking for 12 swappers only on a first sign up basis.
You will have a full four months to complete the blocks!
So what do you see when you look into your pumpkin patch?? Pumpkins surely! But is there also a scare crow? Black birds? Squash? Use your imagination!
Blocks will be DUE no later than September the 20th! That means they need to be in my hands by that date!
********************** late blocks will be returned to you untraded***************
Use Quality fabrics! Use fall colors!!
You will send me a self addressed and stamped envelope for return of your blocks.
If you forget your postage I will hold your blocks until you send me the return postage!
If you can't make the due date please just say so soon enough that we can attempt to get a replacement swapper!
You MUST comment regularly so that all swappers can see activity on your part and know you are still on board with us. Even if you just shoot me a personal message that is fine as long as I know you are still with us. if I don't hear from you regularly I will assume you are no longer interested and your spot will be replaced. This will stop any disappointing situations where someone signs up and then we never hear from you again.

. Let's Have Fun!!
Started May 20th
Ends September 20th
You can put more than one thing on your blocks. Like a pumpkin with squash, leaves and an animal. Whatever!
Glad to have you Connie.
OK I am in....I might do a combo of embroidery and pumpkin ... will have to think about design AFTER I finish with the fish, plus I have 2 baby quilts to make (both due in October) and 3 QOVs to finish. AND we go on vacation to the redwoods on September 16, so these have to be done before!!....Carla, you are a slave driver LOL
Lololol. Does it help to know I slave drive myself too? Lol.
Alright, Carla, I am game. However, I must tell you that if we get more than a dozen people, I may have to rethink my participation. Love being with all of you while we create gorgeous blocks, but don’t want to do sixteen again.
No, I'm holding it to 12. I think 16 was just too much for everyone. I have a lot going on as well too.
I swore I was going to take a break after the Under the Sea - which I am going to get done after next week - babysitting our grandson for a week. so not home til next Friday.........BUT - I do have a great scarecrow and whatever else goes on the block as I dream it up LOL..........Lord knows how or when I will get all these quilts done but this is such a fun and inspirational group :-)
Lolol. So you'r in miss Mary-Anne?
I feel your pain. There is actually a method to my madness. I am trying to do themes that will not only work for beginners of our swap but for us long time swappers. The ones we have done recently could actually fit in with some of our older swaps. The good thing is if you ever need a quick quilt all you have to do is add sashing and border and it's good to go.
of course - how could I miss it LOL - Crazy woman that I am!
Carla does have a way of convincing us to join in the fun.
Awe. If that's a good thing thank you. Lol.
Woo hoo only 6 more to go. I will finish these up in Florida most likely but they have a post office there too. Lol
