"CHARMING SUMMER FUN" Table Runner Swap *** SIGN-UP IS CLOSED***

I know there are a few of you out there that are aquiring quite a stash of charms. How about a summer table runner or topper to use up a few of those extra fabric tidbits!! Sign up by July 7th.

Guidelines:

This will be a good chance to use some of those charms from the charm swaps.Think summer days and colorful gardens to get your creativity flowing. You can choose to do  a table runner or topper.

Size:  

For runners 38" to 48" long by 12" to 15" wide,  for toppers 24" to 36" square

Design: 

For this swap lets keep the top lively and colorful, use charms or some of your own stash fabrics. Paper pieced,applique' pieced, quilt as you go or scrappy.  

Backing can be one fabric or more of your charms if you want to make it reversible. (You could do Summery on one side and Fallish on the other ) 

This will be a partner swap, partners will be assigned after sign-up ends.     

Signup:

Sign-up through July 7th,swap ends and runner/topper received by your partner by August 18th.

    To sign-up post a comment to this disscusion and send me a friend request if I am not on your friends list.

     If I don't already have your address from a previous swap sent it to me in a MQP message

      After the partner list is posted I will send you your partners address.

 

If for any reason you are unable to fulfill your obligation after you are partnered up please notify me immediately so that a new partner can be found to fill your spot.

Please do not post your address under the disscusion, I know we are all friends but anyone can view your info on the site.

Good morning Ladies!!! Sign-up is now closed for this swap and the partner list is posted!! I  will be sending your partners address  and preference to your MQP inbox so they should be in there in a little bit.Please be sure to post when you receive your topper/runner and post a picture of what you receive if possible, everyone likes to see what creative ideas you swapers come up with.

I am missing Colletts address, but will send it as soon as I receive it.

Great, have my partner and can now get sceaming!!! Elizabeth, I know you will be moving in to your own house would love to be able to make something in your color scheme.....got some color ideas??? Or maybe make a fall colored one????? I sent you a friend request so could send private msg's back and forth. I will be sending it after August 1, I'm sure, so have the new address!!!

Cindy- just wanted you to know that all i need to do is put the binding on your runner. A friend saw it and said oooh, nautical. So i hope it is what you want. So far I like it. I'll have to confess that I am not the best quilter though so keeping my fingers crossed that it is OK.

Yours went in the mail today, Cindy. I had to get the envelope at the Post Office and the postal workers oohed & aahed over it. So hope it is good for you. Will be looking for mine soon, too. Take care.

Barb, just as I was about to leave for the post office to mail yours, the mailman brought me the one from you! It is absolutely gorgeous! I love it! And it fits the dining room perfectly! Perfect fit for the table too. You should have yours by the end of the week. I sure hope you like yours as much as I like mine!!
