i didn't find bonnies blog last night on the basics. i didn't make it thru all the links tho. but what i did find was the people who "invented" the zentangle technique. and have patented it. there is a link to his blog on this page. both pages break down what zentangle is, how to use it, how to develope your own designs. there is a member here on mqp who was working on zentangle blocks that she was going to work into a quilt... i am not sure if i saved her mqp page. she is the source of my knowing about zentangle, i jad never jeard of it till i came across her photo of a zentangle block. done w colored thread on a satin looking fabric and starting my searching for more info over the past year.

link to the source of the zentangle idea. nice read, but not quilty. there are classes and lessons available now, also, from SoftExpressions website.

Timely question, I just got this blog from Bonnie Browning, I took her Zentangle class a month or so ago and she used us for a little slideshow.

Bonnie teaches a class at some quilt shows about how you can turn Zentangles into machine quilting designs.

Hope you got some sleep, Rogue and Sharon!

just found deviantart site again. one of my very first hangouts when i first started pc'ing. used to crash my pc routinely looking at all the wonderful art images. didn't know i had to close those links. didn't notice all the little words getting more and more scrunched up on that bar down there lol. they state on site that they started up in 2000. yup..i started on pc 1999. still haven't learned to turn the thing off lollol
