Colleen, the bibs are adorable! Have you seen the dress tea towels? They look almost like the bibs. Saw them on Pinterest.

Those bibs look like they will catch everything.

Check out this ( little girl bib) I’m going to make some little boy ones with a little boy shirt, I think T-shirts might work too.

top picture is the back— about a 3” facing, fold over so it just goes over the head.

The Amish Star potholders are actually a donation for our sewing group sale table at Heritage Days this summer. We have all been making small items for the fund raising sale. I will make more now that I have it figured out for gifts.

Colleen, The pot holders are beautiful and as Mary said to pretty to  soil at the stove. I think I'd hang them as kitchen decor. Love the fabric also.

So sorry for your loss, Rosemary. May the Lord comfort your heart.

Rosemary, my sympathies. I'm sure the anniversary of your husband's death is difficult. I hope you have family and friends around you.

Colleen, the hot pads are beautiful! I think I have to agree with Mary about using them as trivets or mug rugs. They would be perfect Secret Santa gifts!

Those hot pads are way to pretty to use near the stove!  I would let them be trivets or mug rugs.

Oh my - that runner is Beautiful!

I am trying to start catching up again, have a queen size quilt to get quilted and have to make a queen sized hockey quilt— taking apart the hockey jerseys took me 3 days! What a job they were, much different than T-shirts. But I am finally ready to start construction. I finally learned to make Amish Star potholders and caught up most of my sewing group ( homework) my ( secret sister) will probably get one or two of these hotpads, other than needing practice on the binding they were fun to create.
