I had everything ready until Irma came to visit.  Sorry but I am not going to have time to do it.   Irma was good to us so except for inconvenience of no power/cable/internet for a few days and clean up of minor debris in yard we are great.  What a relief.  I feel so very bad for people who lost everything or a lot even.  Our guild is putting together quilts that can be sent to Houston because  we know someone who lives in Houston and is in good shape but knows people who lost everything and she is willing to take them and deliver.  That sounds like a plan as then we know they will get them and not end up in a warehouse for months before anything happens with them.  Sad to say but the people who volunteer only have so many hours each day and with devastation that badly you can see how this type of thing could happen.  Food and clothes are much more important for the first few weeks.

Is there anyone making aprons. There are only 15 days left in the contest. So far only Mary M. has submitted a photo.

I sometimes read on my ipad but already have a case that I use to carry it in when I travel.  I really like to hold a book in my hand.  I have found a new author that I am enjoying - John Gilstrap or quilty books except Jennifer Chiaverini as I have all of hers.  I think most everyone likes chocolate.  I am partial to White Chocolate.  YUM!  Most any quilty knick knacky items are always fun.

Kathy and Mary, I think we all could use someone to clean, catch up, straighten up, and wash! And Pam wants a too!

Looks like I have a few more questions to answer! Hope I don't repeat myself! I love all kinds of handwork from embroidery to applique to EPP. I can use all colors of thread. Mettler, Guttermann, Bottom Line... I do have a 7" Nook tablet. I love anything chocolate. Plus like Cappuccino's. I do have a Baby Go! My favorite rotary cutter size is the 28mm. Not sure I got it all. Any surprises I get will be appreciated! Count me in on the maid and window washer plus a cook! Happy sewing.

Dark Chocolate, coffee, Diet Pepsi are my top 3 that I always have in the house. I could use a person that likes to clean houses and straighten my sewing room. Someone to help me catch up with projects. I know I'm asking for a lot.

Hmmmm....Land 'o Lakes mint hot chocolate or Bigelow mint tea. If my SS lives in Arizona or S.California and has access to prickly pear tea bags, I'm down to my last 4 bags. They make the best sun tea. Colored pencils...I color a lot. Cashews and peanuts.

What non-quilty item would be a great gift from your SS pal?

I love BIGS pumpkin seeds, pistachios, and peanuts in the shell. Also a huge fan of popcorn. Those would be great gifts for me.

I hope lots more people scroll through the questions and give answers so that all SS pals can get some good hints. Just because you haven't answered yet doesn't mean you can't go back through and answer any time.
