With the heat I've been enjoying my prickly pear sun tea. The only place I know that you can get the tea bags is Arizona. Thankfully I have friends that can send them to me. I truly hope that I'll be able to spend next winter there.

As for hand work when on the go, I like to take hand embroidery or counted cross stitch. I once embroidered a vintage pillow case to be made into a laundry bag on one of my Amtrak trips to Arizona.

I love my Keurig as well Colleen.  I like the Green Mountain Coffee.  I am currently on a sabbatical from drinking it.  Been enjoying my Chai tea at the moment.

That is cute Wilma.  Thanks for the link.  I know that one of my last totes I made is going to my secret santa pal.  It was a Missouri Star YouTube blast utilizing 5" squares.

I would take crochet over the epp.  To much hand work and trying to hang onto those tiny pieces, ugh!  I have one little flower garden block that is enough.  Realize I am a machine and gadget girl, not a hand piecer.

EPP is great for traveling. I have a tote I take along RVing when we head to to lake. Nothing like a day on the pontoon with a pole in the water and sewing in my lap!! also great for those loooong cross country  jaunts. It's to bad your not closer Colleen I could definitely take care of your fussy fabric deficit!

The Patchwork of the Crosses is English Paper Pieced. Now that I've finished all of the EPP Millifiore rosettes and am starting to put it together I thought the Patchwork of the Crosses would be great to do next- I love EPP for my travel/ hand projects. They are so easy to take along. But, I guess I need to choose a different project for now till I collect some new ( fussy cut worthy) fabrics.

Wilma, Love the carrier! I'm having problems saving it to Pinterest, but will try again later. Short of time right now.

Love the carrier Wilma. Looks like a quick easy design, I may just have to make one of them too, or two of them and share one with my SSpal

Check out this cute, simple carrier. May find it's way into the SSS box....
