Comment by Rebecca Tellez on October 18, 2012 at 12:16am Sylvia your quilt turned out lovely. I really like the color combinations. Your niece will have a treasure from her aunt. That is very special.
Great looking quilt Sylvia. This mystery quilt was a great pattern. I have not seen one color combo yet I have not liked.
Comment by Sylvia Thomas on October 17, 2012 at 2:57pm Ginny Anderson has submitted her Rainbow Rotini Mystery Quilt she calls "Secondary Rainbow." Ginny says: "My Rainbow Rotini mystery quilt is called Secondary Rainbow because I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by using a secondary color palette – not normal colors for me. The pattern was challenging, and it was my first pieced sashing experience. So much movement and fun! This quilt will be a gift for my niece, Kayla. The thrill of seeing how the mystery is finally solved never fails to amaze me!" Here's a photo:

Comment by Ginny Andersen on September 6, 2012 at 7:48am I finally got the interior together. Working on the pieced outer borders to make it a little bigger. I like it better now than while in-progress but it is definitely out of my comfort zone, color-wise. I am working on getting the image to you gals.

Comment by Lynn Lybolt on July 30, 2012 at 9:59pm Rebecca---I am blushing deep red. No fancy quilting---just stitch in the ditch and a swirl in the block centers. The gal I gave it to loves it,though.
Beautiful! I love your colors

Lynn I really, really like your quilt. Wish I could see the quilting better. How did you quilt it?
