Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I love making small quilts, doll quilts and mini's! My standard is anything that is no bigger than 24" by 24" qualifies. Any technique at all! I'd love to see your small quilts and get your ideas!

Comment by Diana Engdahl on September 20, 2011 at 2:45pm Hi Leslie... I would love to do some little doll quilts. Right now that is pretty much all I can do until Im recovered from Surgery. I bet some of the little girls up in the Cancer center and such would love them for their Dollies.
I think it would be more of an art to me...I am an artist and love to make new designs...how exciting. I'll have to check out what you have done.. thanks. Diana

I also find that I don't even need to baste some of my small ones -- just starch the back so it has less chance of puckering up -- then pin from the front -- especially with Thermore batting -- it kind of clings to the fabric.
