As promised, here are a couple of photos of the finished purse my 8 year old made. This is her first project and it was all done by hand. She even put a pocket on the inside to hold her cell phone. I have some more pictures of her working on it and will load those later. She found the fabric at her day care and had the purse section almost finished when she brought it home. I helped her cut out the handle and the inside pocket and she did the rest!

My grand-daughter starting sewing (in my lap) at age 2. She's 10 now. Here's some pictures of her work! :) Her name is Cheyenne "MY SWEETIE PIE"
