Insomniacs Midnight Chats

Insomniacs Midnight Chats

This group is for those late night quilters who like to login to MQP in the wee hours of the morning.   I know once I wake up I can never go back to sleep so I like to browse around MQP. But I miss all the action because it's 2 or 3 am. So now, maybe my fellow insomniacs can find me here and chat. Or just post your insomnia charged thoughts....hope you enjoy!

Hi girls, Well it's your middle of the night and my middle of the afternoon!  I'm trying to decide will I be good or bad!!! Perhaps both but I will go back to a UFO! It's a beautiful day, bright and sunny and virtually noise free except for now the local garbage collectors truck it has just emptied our bins and now it's gone and silence again.  I have recovered nicely from my surgery and have received part of the news regarding the cause of some of my problems. On the 9th April I will see the specialist again and get the rest of the results the biopsies!!  Keeping a positive attitude and I know people are praying for me.  My projects are close to the end in some and in others I am waiting for more BOM.  Well instead of meaningless conversation I will go and do some sewing.  Thanks for those who have been praying for me and hopefully I can return to favour for someone else who needs it. Happy Quilting. Julie Beard

It's been wonderful to have the girls here. Marie finished all the squares, that was her goal 11 squares across and 13 squares down. I will post a picture later. I still refuse to drive because every one in awhile I get dizzy and then get motion sickness. I know I wouldn't want some one on the road that way. I have finished my april  mug rugs done. I'm disigning may now, some days are good and some days are so so. but I'm lucky it could of been worse. Carolyn is here untill next week. Madras is very cold we are in the 80's.

God Bless. Mary Jeane

I too do the knitting in the quiet times.

Riana I hope all goes well with Sheba. I know the feeling of needing the comfort of quilting. My small old house is all hardwood floors and the original door handles are kinda noisy too so any movement can be loud. I wait until everyone's up before I sew but I find that knitting is even more relaxing for me so I keep that in a space that I can always get to it when I'm the only one up.....which is usually the case. What part of the country are you guys traveling?

3:30 a.m., & l'm awake...worried about our big cat, Sheba ,who's spending the night at vet's due to kidney l've got a headache. When l'm home, l can go downstairs & sew at a time like this, but while in RV, l'd wake up hubby, dog & other 2 my supplies are in compartment under bed, which is , of course, occupied by the above mentioned 4, lol! l'm feeling better already just venting. Maybe the Advil's starting to kick in.
