As many of you know, we experienced a flooded basement this spring. This necessitates a change in the drainage so it doesn't happen again...so while we're at it, we're taking apart the front walk,…Continue

I have  2 large windows...1 in living room and 1 in dining room. Hopefully I don't kill it over the winter. Usually I either water too much or not enough.

Daily blooms for the rest of the summer now, Linda !You'll need to find a nice sunny place inside for this come winter.

This is exciting! I've never had hibiscus before. Unfortunately, yesterday's rain got to it before I could get photos.

This year, the hydrangeas are spectacular. The other type are just starting...by next week they'll be blooming too.

Perhaps they'll reseed and grow normal next year. Love the color. My hollyhocks didn't come up last  year. Thought I'd lost them all together. And this year some are up. Others are only up about 6 inches, no blooms.

Linda, your poppies did look nice. We've had so much rain/thunder, even hail, that l'm not surprised we've missed a few blooms. My hollyhocks dissappeared 3 yr ago when mice got to the roots over winter...then 2 hot/dry summers of drought...but they've shown up this year, only miniature. They're only 14" high, lol.

Poppies were pretty this year but didn't last long. Only got a photo of two blossoms.
