Just in time for Easter...the amarillas are all blooming in our neighbourhood. This one was gifted by a neighbour. I have to store it away from our pets when l' m not present to enjoy it.

riana ..those are wonderful! the colors are soooo vibrant!! hubby buys me a little bouquet every week when he goes to walmart for his lunch stuff. he started that our first winter here. it was a year like this ..record breaking cold & almost as much snow as this year. the bright colored flowers help me deal w the continuous gray cold. i currently have some peach colored tulips in my kitchen. :))

Riana - your flowers are beautiful! Love the roses.

Friday our weather was 70. This morning there was snow! It melted by mid-afternoon but has remained cold. Suppose to be in high 60s by end of week again. Pneumonia weather for sure. Don't know how to dress from day to day. I opened the door for Indy to go outside this morning and he just stood there and looked at me. He turned around and went back to bed!

Roses here usually need a lot of watering...but this year, a combination of no frost & plenty of short showers have them looking like the ones back home :-))

Our  weather here has been perfect. The bougainvillia's prettier than ever. My pink roses are having a rest, but the reds are starting to bloom.

Rogue, hope it thaws and melts soon for you.  We had predictions of snow for today, but just rain so far.  Hope it stays that way.

well, the food news is the snow is melting in the yard, the bad news is ..snow in garden still over 6" deep as of yesterday, good news is ..more snow on the way, they say, but it sisn't make it so far :)) ...bad news is ..melt isn't soon or fast enough ..wildlife are very hungry ..did you know deer will eat rhodies and the flower buds off of exbury azaleas? ...out on edge of yard near garden area flower beds ..but not in the yard near house. sigh ..guess i have some replanting to do this year. which means ..i get to shop the plant nurseries in may when everything they have is blooming! yaaayyy fun!

Where you are having below normal temps, Rogue, we are having above normal temps. Mid February and it's in the low 60's here in NE Ohio. That's unheard of!! I was out yesterday raking the trash from under the pine hedge. My ribs and low back hurt. Will be a couple days before I can get back out to pick up the rest of the piles.
