Hi Glenda. I also enjoy paper piecing. My avatar is the first paper piece quilt I made. It was a baby quilt for my grandson. Pick the pattern and papers up at Wal msrt on clearence. I am now working on an art quilt that is paper pieced useing freezer paper. My next paper pieced quilt will be a quilt out of the book quilts with attitude. It looks really complicated.
Tina Thain, I'm so sorry for delay in answering...just getting to catching up. I used Whirlwind Romance, pg 20, but variation of it shown on pg 58-Swirling Water. I also added the extra 8 diamonds to that variation
Comment by Glenda Furrow on March 26, 2013 at 12:46pm Good morning everyone. My name is Glenda and I am new to the group, and love foundation piecing. I am fairly new to the technique, but what I've done was fun! I know I have a lot to learn and I'm hoping that someone in the group can help me if I get stuck. I LOVE all the pictures you have posted and hope that one day I'll have something fantastic to share.

I intended to do the Double wedding ring quilt for my son's wedding as a foundation piecing project but ended up piecing it traditionally...to be honest I am glad I did as with a good template and loads of chain piecing it is progressing quite quickly....I will post a photo soon.
