I am so lucky this year. I purchased a Baby Lock machine and so very impressed by it. So far this year I have made four of the Lord's Prayer (…Continue
I bought my first embroidery machine this year and I love it! Can't believe I waited so long!
I am new to the site and to the group.
Totally LOVE doing machine embroidery, especially FSL. At last count I had OVER 150k designs with NO desire to stop downloading more.
I hope to get some photos posted soon, but first I need to learn my way around the site and learn where things are.
Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
I love doing embroidery and carry a project in my purse along with some hand piecing so I always have something to work on.
I missed out on an auction on Ebay for the whimsical hand embroidery pattern for a pillow with the words "Hand Over the Chocolate and Nobody Gets Hurt" on it to stitch. I've searched the net and so far haven't been able to find anyone who offers the pattern for sale. Can anyone here help me find a link to the pattern? Thanks!
I've just spotted this group, I LOVE all your 'spooky' designs. I love all kinds of embroidery, the more detailed the better. I would like to try goldwork, has anybody had a go at this?
@Mandy...yep!...it's great fun with all of the grandkids. My daughter-in-law (Mandy :0) ) is expecting her third child in Dec. That will make 11 grands for us!
Here's what I've been doing (along with odds and ends of other sewing):
What fun Sanda, it must be great to have a large family to stitch for.
Thank you Mandy...so very nice of you to say! Yep, I'm busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. With 10 grandkids (7 of the trick-or-treat age) they keep me busy in more ways than just sewing. I'm also making two for non-family kids who want one. My husband and I are weekend vendors, so embroidering is what I do when I'm just sitting. A people watcher I am, but I need something to do for 8 hrs. that's for sure.
Have a t-riffic weekend!
They are lovely Sandy, you certainly sound like you're going to be a busy lady and an organised one, you'll have everything ready for Christmas.
Happy Sunday fellow stitchers!
Thought I'd post pics of the #3 & #4 trick or treat bags I'm making for the grands...only 3 left to make...then it's on to advent calendars for Christmas.
