Information
If you would like to join a 100% quality Quilt Store BATIK 2 1/2"WIDTH 44"-45".
Start by being friends of Chef Lisa and Carla Walton: you will send me 12- 2 1/2" strips of the same color family BATIK fabric and I will send back 12 of all different batiks. You must remember to send a return self addressed stamped envelope 9" x 6" with a quart ziploc bag.
GO TO USPS.COM TO GET THE CORRECT SHIPPING PRICES! If you go to the counter to get dated postage make sure you tell the clerk that the return envelope is for a different date.
12 strips plus SASE $2.41 postage
Just drop me an invite and I will get you on the lists. ITS SO FUN! Each group of 12 will be a different color family. We already have done blue, red, yellow, green, purple, pink, white, black, brown and orange.
CARLA WALTON is our Administrator for the Batik Strip Swap!
She will be handling the next groupings of colors please send the new color groups to her. I will be in cervical surgery and out of commission for couple of months.

well you are off to a good start. i'll put you down right now. !
here are the rules.
* quilt store quality batiks only.
* send your fabrics only when the swap closes
* send a self addressed stamped envelope inside the envelope that you send your strips in
* have FUN........that's pretty much it.
welcome to the swap. just to let you know though we do not set a specific date for the swaps to be filled and sent in. this is a no sweat swap.:) so what we do is put your name on the list. once the list fills to 12 swappers either lisa or myself will let you know it's time to send your fabrics, once I get them all I will separate them and send them back. :)
