Batik Strip Swap

If you would like to join a 100% quality Quilt Store BATIK 2 1/2"WIDTH 44"-45".

Start by being friends of Chef Lisa and Carla Walton: you will send me 12- 2 1/2" strips of the same color family BATIK fabric and I will send back 12 of all different batiks. You must remember to send a return self addressed stamped envelope 9" x 6" with a quart ziploc bag.

GO TO USPS.COM TO GET THE CORRECT SHIPPING PRICES! If you go to the counter to get dated postage make sure you tell the clerk that the return envelope is for a different date.

12 strips plus SASE $2.41 postage

Just drop me an invite and I will get you on the lists. ITS SO FUN! Each group of 12 will be a different color family. We already have done blue, red, yellow, green, purple, pink, white, black, brown and orange.

CARLA WALTON is our Administrator for the Batik Strip Swap!

She will be handling the next groupings of colors please send the new color groups to her. I will be in cervical surgery and out of commission for couple of months.

pat there are openings in the spring flowers swap if you want in it, it's up to you. I also have a bright batik swap and cotton candy pastels, these two last ones will take a while to fill up. :)

pat this is the center of the fabrics we just swapped, I left the crease in there so you can see that it's the centers. there are no v's in any of these. but if you chose to do a swap we always make it right if you are not happy with something. I have even sent some of my own fabric to girls whose charms got torn up in the mail. after all we want this swap to be fun. :)

hi pat,

there have been very very few v's in our swap. what we do is ask the girls who do not cut well to send us the yardage and we cut it ourselves. but most of them are really good at it. there have been a few but very few. I don't see any sign of slowing down in the near future. we have been doing this for a straight 10 or 11 months now with out stopping. what we do is simply sign up for a group and then wait for it to fill to 12 swappers and then exchange. that takes the stress of having to have it here within a week or so away. most of these girls have been in it for the long haul. :)
