Hi AQS BookClubbers! More Questions have just been added under The Cheyenne River Mission Quilts Discussion Forum above. We're hanging in there in case more people want to join in -- but keep in mind that you can actually read and comment at any time, for any question, any book. (When we add more.) Hop on up there and take a look! We'd love to know what you're thinking.

I am so happy so many of you are reading The Cheyenne River Mission Quilts.  I'm looking forward to some discussion.  The second book in the series will be coming out the first part of August.  Excited to see what you think.

Cathy Stoffel-Koehm has joined us!  Hi, Cathy!  How is everyone doing on The Cheyenne River Mission Quilts? We'll be posting more questions on behalf of the author today. Watch for them in the Discussion area above. As you can tell, we're not rushing. Since the AQS Book Club has just begun, we're giving some time for everyone to get the book and get settled.

Are several of you waiting for the next book? We'll announce the next book in plenty of time for everyone to get a copy.

Evangeline is a composite of the young women who came west to teach at missions or government schools. I found the research interesting and thought it would make a good story line for a book. The next book in the series - The Boarding Schools Quilts - will introduce you to new characters who are Elijah and Evangeline's opposites. (Jan Cerney author)

I have finished reading The Cheyenne River Missions Quilts book. I really enjoyed reading it. I thought that Evangeline was brave to venture out west at such a young age. Especially during the time era, she lived in. It usually wasn't safe for a woman to go out alone. Much less travel to the west unescorted. However, she has good and caring heart and it wasn't hard to not like her.

Sherry, We'll keep Cheyenne River Mission Quilts going through July. Since the book club just started, most people were not quite ready to discuss it in June. It's such a good book, we don't want to skip along too quickly. There are many questions to post, and author Jan Cerney is here to join in the fun! We've just been pausing for more readers to check in.

Due to the ongoing nature of this type of group posting, anyone will be able to jump in to any book discussion at any time. Every book will have its own Discussion forum. So no one will ever be "too late" for any book!

So, for now, grab a copy of Cheyenne River Mission Quilts - you'll enjoy it! See the Discussion Forum for the first two questions - more will be offered very soon.
